Golf Practice Facilities
Moby Golf Performance Center
The men's and women's golf teams have access to a state-of-the-art, high-tech on-campus, indoor practice facility located in Moby Arena. The facility includes a Full Swing simulator with dual Ion-3 high-speed cameras and infrared sensors to produce the most realistic ball track data in the industry. The Full Swing simulator also has over 60 different golf courses that players can play a round on as well as work on their swing with the analyzer. Also in the facility is a Perfection Putting Platform with four actuators to adjust the break of the putts in all directions on the 12' x 5' platform. The platform has a SAM PuttLab 5.0 that provides complete analysis of all aspects of putting, including impact spot, swing timing, face angles and putting path. The programs have a separate indoor putting and short chipping room and a locker area for student-athletes to store equipment for practices in the 24-hour access facility.
Harmony Golf Club
The CSU men's and women's golf teams are supported with their own indoor practice facility, as Harmony Club in Timnath, Colo., serves as the Rams' primary training facility. The 3,000-square-foot complex is filled with many exciting features, including three hitting bays that can be opened to hit onto the driving range, or closed to hit into a net. The facility also is equipped with an indoor putting green, Trackman Golf launch monitor, JC Video swing system, coaches' offices, and luxury locker rooms. Surrounding the facility is a private, short-game practice area complete with two greens, bunkers, and plenty of chipping and pitching areas. Along with the practice facilities, the Harmony Club also features an 18-hole golf course designed by CSU alum Jim Engh. Engh and Byron Collins, a fellow CSU alum and owner of the club, were instrumental in the creation of this million-dollar facility.
