Two Rams Finish In Top 10 at Club Glove Intercollegiate

When all was said and done at the Club Glove Intercollegeiate in Somis, Cali. two Rams were in the top 10.
Senior Nolan Martin shot a final round 73 to finish two strokes behind the lead in a tie with five other golfers for third place. Fellow Senior Martin Laird shot a 75 in the final round to finish one shot behind Martin for ninth place.
Junior John Hayes was the next highest golfer for Colorado State. He shot a final round 75 to finish in a tie for 32nd place overall.
Sophomore Nate Pettitt dropped to a tie for 48th place with his worst round of the tournament. He shot a final round 81.
Senior Kevin McAlpine shot a 78, his best round of the tournament, and finished in a tie for 56th overall.
As a team the Rams finished 22 strokes behind first place Pepperdine. They shot a total score of 893. Pepperdine?s Michael Putnam won the tournament in a playoff over Tulsa?s David Inglis.
