Women?s Golf Finishes Fourth at Las Vegas Collegiate Shootout

Colorado State junior Trisha Quick finished the tournament tied for third place with rounds of 68, 75 and 73, for a total score of 216. Quick?s first round score of 68 is the lowest round of her career and is tied for the lowest round in school history. Her three-round score of 216 is also tied for the fourth lowest in school history. This was Quick?s second top-ten finish this season.
Rounding out the top-25 for the Rams was senior Dawna Virdell. Virdell finished tied for 22nd. She shot rounds of 79, 70 and 77 for a total score of 226.
Also competing for Colorado State was Stephanie Linnell, Lynette Duran and Kristen Campos. Linnell finshed with a total score of 228 and tied for 28th, Duran finished with a total score of 231 and tied for 39th, and Campos finished with a total score of 235 and tied for 49th.
This was the last tournament of the fall for the Rams who will now start preparing for the spring season.
