Fort Collins - Colorado State University athletic department officials are expecting a near-capacity crowd for Wednesday night's in-state men's basketball matchup with the University of Colorado.
The game begins at 7 p.m. MST in Moby Arena, and can be heard live on the Colorado State Sports Network, including KIIX (1410 AM) in Fort Collins and KNUS (710 AM) in Denver. There is no television coverage.
Ticket personnel said Monday that single-game sales have been brisk for the game, matching the 4-2 Rams and the 4-1 Buffaloes.
Colorado State's most recent sellout in the 8,745-season arena came last January, when the Rams played host to the University of Wyoming. School officials announced an advance sellout the day before the game - the first advance sellout in school history.
Colorado State enters Wednesday night's game having won two games in a row, beating Gardner-Webb, 89-59, last Saturday night when five players scored in double figures. Forward Matt Williams and center Matt Nelson each scored 17 points to lead the Rams.
