Women?s Golf Finishes Third At Mountain West Championships

Sun River, Ore. - The Colorado State women?s golf team finished in third place after shooting a final round of 305 at the Mountain West Championships.
The Rams were led by sophomore Trisha Quick who finished in seventh place after shooting a final round of 75. Senior Mayumi Motoyama finished 12th for Colorado State after posting a final round of 76. Sophomore Lynette Duran finished 17th and junior Dawna Virdell placed 18th. Junior Stephanie Linnell rounded out the field tying for 20th.
The Rams final team score was 917. New Mexico won the tournament after shooting an 890.
Colorado State awaits an invitation to the NCAA Championships. The announcement will be made on Monday.
