Spring 2003 Men?s Golf Academic All-Conference

Academic All-Conference honors went to men?s golfers Martin Laird and Tommy Sharp. This honor is awarded to individuals who have a GPA of at least a 3.0 and participate in half of all events.

Laird is a junior majoring in marketing and earned a GPA of 3.527. Sharp recently graduated with a major in finance and real estate and tallied a 3.348 GPA.

Laird also received the Scholar-Athlete award. In order to receive this award on must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participate in at least one event.
