Men?s Golf Team Selected To NCAA West Regional

Fort Collins, Colo. - The Colorado State men?s golf team was selected to compete in the 2004 NCAA West Regional in Sunriver, Ore. on May 20-22.

The Rams have been selected to the NCAA Regional Tournament for nine consecutive seasons, extending the longest streak in Colorado State history by a men?s sport.

Colorado State was selected as the 11th seed in the West Region. Four other Mountain West teams were selected. The four teams were Brigham Young, UNLV, New Mexico and San Diego State. Utah?s Garrett Clegg was selected as an individual.

The Rams? 2004 season was highlighted by a school record five tournament wins. The Rams are expected to be led by two All-American candidates Nolan Martin and Martin Laird.
