Laird Wins Denver Open

Former Colorado State golfer Martin Laird won the Denver Open with a final-round 66 at Buffalo Run Golf Course on Sunday.
For the 54-hole tournament, he hit a 200 and was two shots better than former University of Colorado golfer Ben Portie.
In his final round, Laird hit 17 greens in regulation, missing on the first hole before chipping in for birdie. He made seven birdies and posted just one bogey on the day.
Fellow CSU graduate, Mike Kitowski, shot a 212 tying for 13th in the tournament.
