"We had trouble honestly with their size inside, they have good inside players. We battled hard. We did some nice things but we had a chance to put the box out on a missed free throw in the end. The inside guys are good too with size, Creason and Smith. Smith is going to be a pro."
On what Auburn will take from this game
"We need to learn what it's like to play on the road in a hostile environment. I told them not to keep their heads down and we've got a long way. One game doesn't define us and we had a chance and we just couldn't make the plays when we needed to."
CSU this year vs. CSU last year
"The big guys are much better. The young guys, Creason who's a sophomore now and they got him healthy, and they got Smith who's a very valuable kid who's had a year under his belt. They're more athletic than I remember seeing that they were last year. They're going to have a good year, we're very young too but they're a bit more experienced than we are."
