Women's Golf in Third at Anteater Invite

The Colorado State women?s golf team fired a two-round total of 617 to hold down the third spot in the Anteater Invitational in Coto De Caza, Calif. Tuesday.
Freshman Chelsea Benton paced the Rams with a six-over 150 placing her in a tie for third overall in the tournament. Benton is just three strokes off Boise State?s Ashley Hegg who leads the tournament after two rounds.
Ram senior Kristen Campos carded a 155 on the day while Trisha Quick and Lynette Duran each had a pair of 156s for the day. Megan Chapman rounded out CSU?s scoring with a two-round tally of 174.
Host school UC Irvine leads the tournament with a 603 while Boise State is in second place with a 611.
Play concludes in the Anteater Invitational on Wednesday.
