The Coors Light Ram Basketball Coaches? Show will air from 7-8 p.m. from the University Park in Fort Collins, Colo. The show will air on 600 KCOL in Fort Collins and 710 KNUS in Denver. The final scheduled show date is March 8.
CSU & PSD Partnership
The Colorado State Athletic Department and the Poudre School District announced last fall a partnership in which student-athletes will serve as role models and mentors for elementary school students. As part of the partnership, Colorado State will recognize a different elementary school at fall and winter athletic events.
March 9: Colorado State is 3-1 all-time on March 3 and 1-0 in games played on a neutral court on this date.

The Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament: The Rams will take on Brigham Young in the first round of the 2005 Mountain West Conference Women?s Basketball Tournament on March 9, 2005 at 8:30 p.m. MT at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo. Colorado State trails in the series with the Cougars 22-37 and is 2-4 when playing on a neutral court. Colorado State is lost both games this season to Brigham Young. The last time the Rams faced the Cougars on a neutral court was on March 1, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nev. Colorado State won that matchup 59-56.
Scoring Streak Snapped: Vanessa Espinoza had a 53-game scoring streak snapped on March 5, 2005 vs. Air Force. Espinoza was held scoreless against the Falcons and was limited to one point vs. New Mexico. Lindsay Thomas has the longest active scoring streak for the Rams. She has scored at least one point in 88 straight games for the Rams. In fact, the only game of her career that Thomas did not score in was her second game vs. USC on Nov. 17, 2002. The next closest scoring streak is 59 by Melissa Dennett
The No. 6 Seed: Colorado State enters the Mountain West Tournament as a No. 6 seed with a conference record of 6-8. This marks the first losing conference season for the Rams since the 1994-95 campaign when Colorado State went 6-8 in conference play.

Hunter Scoring: Sara Hunter has scored above her season average in ten of her last eleven games. Over that span she has dished out 37 assists compared to 26 turnovers. Also during that stretch, Hunter scored a career-high 17 points vs. New Mexico.
Espinoza From Deep: Vanessa Espinoza has now made 98 three-point baskets in her career and needs only two to reach 100. Only nine other players at Colorado State have made 100 threes.
Hunter Moving Up Lists: Sara Hunter has now made 40 three-point shots in her freshman season. Only Becky Hammon (88) and Elizabeth English (44) made more threes in their freshman seasons.
Back-to-Back-to-Back Losses: Prior to the losses vs. Utah, Brigham Young and New Mexico, Colorado State had not lost back-to-back-to-back home conference games since the 1994 season when they dropped three regular season contests vs. UTEP, Fresno State and San Diego State.
The 2004 MWC Tournament: Wyoming ended the Rams run last season in the Mountain West Conference Tournament. The game was the last time that all five Colorado State starters would reach double-figures in scoring.

Denker Reaches 50: Chris Denker?s 50th win at Colorado State came in the 61-51 win over Wyoming on Jan. 28, 2005. Only Tom Collen (129), Greg Williams (109) and Ann Matlock (78) have more career wins at Colorado State. Tom Collen is fastest coach to get to 50 wins accomplishing the feat in 57 games. Greg Williams reached 50 wins in 113 games and Ann Matlock tallied her 50th win after 115 games. Denker tallied 50 wins in only 81 games.
Dennett Scoring First: The Rams are 8-4 in games that Melissa Dennett scores the first points for Colorado State this season. Colorado State is 7-8 when any player other than Dennett tallies the first points for the Rams.
The Turnover Game: The Rams have had only five games this season in which they have recorded more assists than turnovers (vs. Iona, at Colorado, vs. Tennessee-Martin, vs. UNLV, vs. Air Force). The Rams are 4-1 in those games.
Scoring Slump Snapped: Colorado State scored 75 points in the win over Air Force on March 5, 2005. Colorado State had failed to get over the 70 point mark in the previous 16 games. The Rams are averaging 64.7 points per game this season. Colorado State is averaging only 58.7 points in conference games this season.
No Soup For You: Lindsay Thomas and Melissa Dennett are two of the most prolific shot blockers in school history. Thomas now has 38 blocks for the season. She has blocked more shots as a junior than any other player in school history. The single-season record for blocks is 48 set by Teresa James during the 1992-93 season. Thomas has blocked 65 shots in her career and is eighth on the all-time blocks list. She is only three blocks away from moving into a tie for third all-time with teammate Melissa Dennett. Dennett is currently third all-time with 68 blocked shots in her career..
Stepping Up The D: The Rams are allowing 60.1 points a game this season, ranking third all-time in scoring defense. In fact, Colorado State has had three of the top six seasons defensively since Denker has taken over as head coach of the Rams. This season marks the best defensive team since the 1975-76 team.
Dennett 20+: Melissa Dennett is the first player since Becky Hammon to score 20 points in three consecutive games. Dennett scored 22 vs. San Diego State, 20 vs. UNLV and 22 vs. Wyoming. Hammon scored 20+ points in the last three games of her career.
Opponent Threes: Colorado State has had five games this year where the opponent has launched at least 29 three-point attempts (at Northern Colorado - 48, vs. Wyoming - 41, vs. San Diego State - 29, at New Mexico - 30, at Wyoming - 32). Colorado State had only three games ever prior to this season that an opponent had taken more than 29 three-point attempts. The Rams are 6-2 in those games.
60 Is The Magic Number - Part 1: The Rams are 13-1 when holding opponents to under 60 points and 2-11 when allowing more than 60 points this season.

At The Half: Colorado State is 40-7 under Denker when leading at the half. Conversely, the Rams are 13-26 when they go into halfitime tied or trailing.
Home Sweet Home: The Rams are 39-11 under Coach Denker at Moby Arena. The Rams have had seven straight seasons with double figure wins at home. The Rams average 70.3 points per game at home compared to 60.5 on the road while allowing an average of 57.4 at home compared to 64.7 on the road.
Starting Freshman: Freshman Sara Hunter has started 16 games this season for the Rams. She has started more games as a freshman than any player since Becky Hammon (24) and Katie Cronin (31) during the 1995-96 season.
Fan Support: Colorado State has had at least 1,000 fans attend each of the last 147 home games. The last time the Rams played at home in front of fewer than 1,000 fans was Jan. 5, 1996 when Colorado State faced Idaho State. The Rams are 11-5 at home this season.
Tripled Up: CSU has made at least one three-pointer in its last 100 games, dating back to an 0-for-14 performance against San Diego State on Jan. 17, 2002. The Rams have also sunk at least one trey in 332 of the last 333 games, dating back to Nov. 25, 1994 against Penn.
Block Party: Colorado State has recorded at least one blocked shot in the last 48 games dating back to Dec. 11, 2003 at Denver. The Rams combined for 95 blocks during the 2003-04 season, which ranks fifth on the CSU single-season chart. Colorado State has had 105 blocks this season ranking third all-time.
A Perferct 10 (11): Lindsay Thomas became the only player in school history to finish a game perfect from the field with a minimum of 10 attempts. Thomas went 11-of-11 from the field against Tennessee-Martin on Dec. 21. The next best was set by Melissa Dennett versus Wyoming on Jan. 28. Dennett went 9-of-10 (.900) for 22 points.
Third Time Is A Charm: Three times this season the Rams had two players record a double-double in the same game. Lindsay Thomas and Melissa Dennett teamed up to record double-doubles in all three games. Thomas had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Dennett scored 15 points and grabbed 10 boards in the season opener vs. San Francisco. Against UAB, Dennett scored 25 points and had 15 rebounds while Thomas added 20 points and snagged 10 rebounds. Dennett scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds at Montana and Thomas added 10 points and 11 rebounds. It is the first time that the same two players have recorded double-doubles in three games in the same season since Janie Schieffelin and Sue Ellis did it during the 1978-79 season. Colorado State has never had the same two players record double-doubles in four games in a single season.
Thomas Double-Doubles: Lindsay Thomas collected her tenth double-double of the season vs. New Mexico on March 3, 2005. She now has 14 double-doubles in her career. The record for the most double-doubles in a career is held by Teresa James with 37.
Dennett Doubles Up: Melissa Dennett had 18 points and 13 rebounds in the loss vs. Utah on Feb. 26. This marks her ninth career double-double and the seventh this season.
Tor-Agbidye Says Goodbye To Moby: Senior Msur Tor-Agbidye played her final game in Moby Arena on March 5, 2005 should the Rams not host a postseason tournament game. Tor-Agbidye collected her first career double-double in that game with 10 points and 11 rebounds. She also blocked a career-high five shots and tied a career-high with three steals.
Double-Double Games: Colorado State has had 18 double-double performances this season, ten by Lindsay Thomas, seven by Melissa Dennett and one by Msur Tor-Agbidye.

Juniors Hot & Cold: The combination of Melissa Dennett, Vanessa Espinoza and Lindsay Thomas combine for an average 38.4 points in the six conference wins this season and shoot 49.0 percent from the field. Conversely, in the eight conference losses the same three juniors average 30.7 points and are shooting 41.2 percent.
