Nicks Breaks Own School Record

Colorado State track and field senior Mike Nicks broke his own school record in the steeplechase at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays late Friday night, finishing seventh with a time of 8:42.98.

Two other Rams were in California for the relays. Senior Michelle Carman ran a 17:16.13 to finish 27th, while junior Nicole Feest placed 21st in the 10,000 meters with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 34:33.36.

The rest of the Colorado State track and field team was in Tempe, Arizona for the Sun Angel Classic, but results were not yet available as of midnight.
