FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State track & field program signed three athletes to financial aid agreements Thursday, Kalie Kirk, Seth Monson and Sara Page. Head Coach Brian Bedard made the announcement.

Kirk, a transfer from St. Louis University, will enter CSU as a sophomore this fall. As a freshman, she posted times in the top 10 in six different events during the indoor season, dominating the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles with the top seven and the top 11 times, respectively. She set school records in the 55-meter hurdles (8.27 seconds), the 60-meter dash (7.97) and the 60-meter hurdles (8.82). She continued her record-breaking success into the outdoor season with school records in the 100-meter hurdles (14.93) and the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.78).

Originally from Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument, Colo., Kirk lettered in track all four years and was the state champion in the 300-meter hurdles her senior year. She set school records in the 300-meter hurdles (44.63) and the 100-meter hurdles (14.27).

Monson, a standout from Westview High School in Portland, Ore., was crowned state champion in the 400 meters (48.30) and the 300-meter hurdles (37.72). He also ran a season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles (14.60). Monson will begin his freshman year this fall.

Page joins the Rams from Liberty High School in Liberty, Mo. A member of the National Honor Society, she graduated as a salutatorian, second in her class. Page won the Missouri Class 4A pole vault championship with a preliminary vault of 11 feet, 7 inches this spring.
