McAlpine Earns All-Conference Honors

SUNRIVER, Ore. (April 30, 2005) ? The Mountain West Conference announced its 2005 men?s golf all-conference team and individual awards at the conclusion of its championship today at the Crosswater Course at Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore.
Colorado State junior Kevin McAlpine was the lone Ram selected to the all-conference team. McAlpine finished the season with four top-10 finishes and led the Rams with the lowest stroke average.
UNLV sophomore Ryan Moore was selected as player of the year for the second straight time, while UNLV?s Jarred Texter was named freshman of the year. Coach of the year honors went to Glen Millican of New Mexico.
