Rams Tennis Announces 2005-06 Schedule

Colorado State head women's Tennis Coach Jon Messick today announced the Rams' schedule for 2005-06.
The Rams start the fall season at the BYU Invitational September 22-24 in Provo, Utah. In early October, they travel to the Riviera/ ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, California, then travel to the Air Force Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo. October 7-9. They finish their fall tournament season at the ITA Central Region Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 19-23.
The spring season provides much excitement and experience for the Rams. They will host six home matches, including two Big Ten opponents, Iowa and Minnesota, as well as Kansas State, North Texas, and Northern Colorado. The Rams will play eight Mountain West Conference opponents throughout the spring and then travel to San Diego, Calif. for the MWC Championships.
Colorado State returns five starters off last season's team, including Emily Kirchem, who ended the 2005 season ranked 24th in the Central Region.
