Water Polo Adds Two Matches to 2006 Schedule

Colorado State head coach John Mattos announced the addition of two water polo matches against Colorado College for the 2006 season. The teams will meet in Colorado Springs at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4 and in Fort Collins on Friday, April 14 at 5 p.m.
With the addition of Colorado College to its home slate, CSU will now host three matches in the 2006 season including meetings with nationally-ranked Michigan on March 1, Penn State Behrend on March 9 and Colorado College on April 14. The Rams play all their home matches at Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) in Fort Collins.
Colorado State water polo finished its first season as an intercollegiate sport with an 8-15 record and a ninth-place finish in the 2005 Western Water Polo Association Tournament.
The Rams kick off their 2006 season Feb. 4-5 in the Michigan Invitational in Ann Arbor.
