Cross Country takes home first at Wyoming Invitational

The Colorado State Rams cross country teams competed in their first meet Friday evening at the Wyoming Invitational. Both teams came home with the title beating teams from Air Force, Iowa State, Wyoming and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
The women's team had six runners in the top-10 with red shirt freshman Kirsten Anthony leading the Rams and finishing second over all. She ran a time of 15:03.50. Behind Kirsten, junior Danielle Korb placed third overall with a time of 15:08.20. Sophomore Heather Loseke finished fifth followed by sophomore April Thomas at sixth, freshman Kristen Hemphill at seventh, and sophomore Melissa Thomas at 10th.
The men's team had four runners in the top-10. Senior Josh Glaab led the pack taking second over all and running a time of 22:12.62. Directly behind Josh was senior Paul Michel with a time of 22:12.83. Red shirt freshman Jeff Wahl finished fifth followed by junior Rob Watson who took seventh place.
Next week the Rams head to Albuquerque, New Mexico to compete in the New Mexico Invitational.
