Colorado State dropped to 4-3 on the season in conference duals after suffering a 158-127 setback at Utah (5-0 MWC) Saturday evening in Salt Lake City.
Junior Brette Winegarner was the highlight of the night for the Rams with a first-place finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 58.07 while diver Elyse Hall finished second in the 1-Meter dive and requalified for the NCAA Sectionals in the event.
Liz Jones and Rochell Kula also had top three finishes for the Rams but the Utes' victories in 11 of 16 events proved to be too much for CSU in Utah's final home meet of the season.
Colorado State will return home to face Denver in a non-conference dual meet on Friday, Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. in Moby Pool.
