Poudre Valley REA High Energy Students Of The Game

CSU to recognize Poudre Valley REA "High Energy Students of the Game" this Saturday at the 3rd football game of the season at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.
Three students from Windsor School District and three students from Poudre School District will be presented with a plaque and recognized during this weekend's CSU football game for the Poudre Valley REA "High Energy Student of the Game" program. Students are selected by each participating school based on their energy in and out of the classroom. This weekend's recipients are:
Mitchell Salmela, a 4th grader from Mountainview Elementary, is an excellent and model student. He has a great work ethic, and terrific manners. He enjoys football, basketball, & baseball. He also is an avid fisherman.
Dylan Morley, a 1st grader from Tozer Elementary, "is a wonderful student who consistently demonstrates responsibility for himself and caring for others." Dylan is an all-round superstar who is kind, polite, and patient. He always gives his best effort and does a great job.
Brandon King, an awesome student from Skyview Elementary, "leads his peers in scholarship and citizenship daily." His high energy is contagious and everyone in the school enjoys his great sense of humor. Brandon always enters each day with a fantastic, energetic attitude.
Jana Macbeth, a 6th grader from Bauder Elementary, "is an outstanding, dedicated, and extremely responsible student." She is also active outside of the classroom. Jana is a member of the Amateur Clogging Team, a participant in Eco Week, a three-year member of the school choir, and is very active in her church activities.
Dalton Riba, a 6th grader from O'Dea Elementary, "is an all-around outstanding kid." He is an excellent student and a natural leader. He is a member of the O'Dea Rams Club, participates in the O'Dea Originals choir, is on every intramurals team offered, and belongs to the O'Dea after school Running Club and Hockey Team.
Lanie Matsumoto, a terrific student from Laurel Elementary, "always strives for excellence in all that she does academically, behaviorally, and athletically." Lanie has been involved with Student Council for three years, serves as a Laurel Ambassador for the PSD Foundation "See the Future" tours, and plays soccer, basketball, & track.
