Volleyball Makes 12th Straight NCAA Appearance

The Colorado State volleyball team today learned they will face defending national champion Washington in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Boulder. The Rams earned the Mountain West automatic bid to the NCAA Championship by defeating ninth-ranked Utah last night.
Colorado State (20-9) will face sixth-seeded Washington for the second straight season. Last year the Huskies defeated the Rams in three games in the second round in Moby Arena.
The Rams and Huskies will play on Thursday at 5:00 p.m., while host Colorado will face New Mexico State at 7:00 p.m. The winners of the two matches will square off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the Coors Event Center on the Colorado campus.
