CSU Water Polo Hosts Penn State Behrend Thursday
The Colorado State water polo team (9-6) hosts Penn State Behrend Thursday at 6 p.m. at Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) in Fort Collins. This is the second time, first this season, that the teams have met. The Rams beat Penn State Behrend in their only home match last season 18-0. The Lions are currently 0-7 on the season including losses against two Top 20 teams, Michigan and Indiana.
Rams Win At Home Against LaVerne
Colorado State picked up its ninth win, second win at home, against LaVerne University last Saturday. Annie Quinn and Marissa Fernandez had four goals each in the match and Laurien White added three. Laura Scruggs had two goals and Shari Worack, Rachael Thall and Monica Schuh scored once for the Rams giving them a 16-7 victory. Defensively Andrea Lugo made 13 saves in the match for the Rams.
Nationally Ranked
Colorado State ranks 13th in the nation in scoring defense giving up just 6.4 goals per match. The Rams are 18th in the country in goals scored posting a per match average of 8.2. Individually, CSU's Annie Quinn ranks eighth in NCAA I in scoring with 30 goals while Laurien White is 19th with 25. CSU goalkeepers Holly Stanfill (83 saves) and Andrea Lugo (61 saves) rank 13th and 21st in the nation, respectively.
Quinn Continues Scoring Streak
Colorado State sophomore Annie Quinn continued her school-record scoring streak recording goals in her last 10 matches dating back to CSU's February 5th game versus Indiana.

Colorado state will travel to San Bernardino, Calif. for the San Bernardino Tournament March 11 & 12. The Rams will face Macalester, Cal State San Bernardino, Notre Dame and Wagner in the tournament.
