Whiting Moves to 57th in NCAA West Regional

Tucson, Ariz. - For the second straight day, Colorado State junior Derrick Whiting carded an even par 72 in the NCAA West Regional at the OMNI Tucson National Golf Course Friday. Whiting dropped six spots in the individual standings and is now in a tie for 57th in the 141-player field.
Whiting posted six birdies, two bogeys and two double bogeys in round two.
Utah's Dustin Primm continues to lead the field at 10-under-par while host school Arizona took the lead in the team standings at 552 (-24).
Whiting will conclude play in the NCAA Regional Saturday.
