Colorado State junior Katie Lloyd placed 12th in the heptathlon at the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship with 5,338 points.
Lloyd scored 801 points in the long jump at 19-2, then threw 118-7 in the javelin and ran a 2:23.93 in the 800 meters to move up two spots after the first day into 12th.
The 2004 NCAA Champion, Jacquelyn Johnson of Arizona State won the meet with 5,939 points and led the seven-event competition from the beginning.
Lloyd will have one more year of eligibility remaining for the Rams and six of the 11 that finished ahead of her have completed their time at their respective institutions.
Florida State won the men's competition with 67 points, while Auburn won the women's title with 57 points.
