The Colorado State water polo team begins its 2007 campaign with four games in the Michigan Kick-Off this weekend in Ann Arbor. Also returning for Colorado State will be goalkeeper Dre Lugo who notched 89 saves as a sophomore. Sophomores Emily Chambers, Rachael Thall, Marissa Edwards and Monica Schuh will look to build off of great rookie seasons while junior Emily McCullough will bring back her team-high 29 assists from last year. CSU will also welcome six newcomers who will have the opportunity to contribute immediately to the Rams' success.

This year marks the third time that CSU has competed in the Michigan Kick-Off to start the season. CSU dropped three games to nationally-ranked foes Michigan, UCLA and Indiana while topping Slippery Rock in 2005. >>>QUINN, STANFILL RECEIVE ALL-WWPA HONORS

Quinn led the Rams last season in goals with 72 and is finished the year ranked 13th in the nation in the category, averaging two goals per game. Stanfill knocked away 250 shots last season, averaging 8.1 saves per game and ranked 13th in the nation in total saves.
>>>RAMS PICKED SEVENTH IN PRESEASON POLL
