Big Ten Foes Top CSU Water Polo

Ann Arbor, Mich. - The Colorado State water polo team suffered a 9-4 loss to Indiana and a 15-8 setback to Michigan in the final day of the Michigan Kick-Off in Ann Arbor, Mich.
CSU fell behind 7-1 at the halftime break against the Hoosiers before closing the game down 9-4. Shannon Kohl, Monica Schuh, Emily Chambers and Laurien White all scored goals for the Rams in the game.
In the final game of the tournament, CSU fell to host school Michigan 15-8. The Rams were down 6-4 at the half but four Wolverine goals in the third and five in the fourth would make the final tally 15-8. Annie Quinn led the Rams with four goals in the game while Kohl, Schuh, White and Emily McCullough each added a goal as well.
CSU (1-3)will next face Air Force and Utah on Saturday, Feb. 10 in Fort Collins. Games begin at 2 & 4 p.m. at the Edora Pool/Ice Center (EPIC).
