COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State sophomore Bryce Hanstad and UNLV junior Seung-su Han have been selected the Mountain West Conference Men's Co-Golfers of the Month for October.

Hanstad competed in four tournaments during the month of October and posted a scoring average of 73.17 over 12 rounds. He paced the Rams at three of the four tournaments and led Colorado State to the team title at the Del Walker Intercollegiate.

Hanstad, a Alexandria, Minn., product, began the month tying for sixth place at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Challenge, Sept. 30-Oct. 2, with a 3-over-par 213 (74-73-66) on the 7,032-yard Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. His third-round 66 was a career-low and the lowest 18-hole total by a CSU golfer since Zen Brown's school-record 63 at the 2006 Cougar Classic.

At the Wolf Pack Classic at Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno, Nev., Oct. 8-9, Hanstad tied for 13th out of 99 individuals and finished with a 1-under-par 215 (72-72-71) on the 7,100-yard course.

In his third tournament of the month at The Club Glove Intercollegiate, Oct. 22-23, Hanstad tied for 43rd place after posting a 54-hole total of 242 (81-83-78) on the 6,985-yard Saticoy Country Club course.

His month concluded with a career-best finish at the Del Walker Intercollegiate at the Virginia Country Club, Oct. 25-26 in Long Beach, Calif.  Hanstad tied for second place out of a field of 72 individuals after firing three sub-par rounds (69-71-68) and finishing with a 5-under-par 208. It was a career-low 54-hole total and led Colorado State to its first team title since 2004.

This marks the first career honor for Hanstad.
