The Matchup
Colorado State (6-14, 1-7 MWC) return home on Sunday afternoon to begin the second half of the Mountain West schedule against the Air Force Falcons (4-15, 0-8 MWC), the last place team in the conference.

The Rams deteated the Falcons to open up conference play on Jan. 4, 65-56 at Clune Arena. It was the last win of the season for Colorado State, who enters the game on a seven-game losing skid.

Through the first half of the conference schedule, junior guard Sara Hunter leads the Rams with a scoring average of 10.9 points per game against conference opponents. Freshman forward Juanise Cornell and senior center Marilyn Moulton rank right behind Hunter, averaging 9.1 ppg and 8.8 ppg., respectively.

Moulton leads the Rams with a rebounding average of 7.5 rebounds per contest against conference opponents. Cornell is averaging 6.8 rebounds per game in conference play.

Junior forwards Alecia Steele and Pamela Findlay lead the way for the Falcons. Steele is averaging 12.9 points 8.6 rebounds per game on the season to lead Air Force in both categories. Findlay averages 10.3 points per game and leads the team with 45 assists and 25 steals.

Air Force Series
The Rams hold a 28-7 edge all-time against the Air Force Falcons, including a 14-2 advantage in the Mountain West Conference. Last season, the Rams were swept by the Falcons, snapping a 20-game win streak by the Rams. However, Colorado State defeated the Falcons on Jan. 4 to open up Mountain West play for both teams.

Rams From Long Range at UNLV
As a team, Colorado State attempted a season-most 32 3-pointers in Thursday's 57-46 loss at UNLV, eclipsing the previous mark of 26 3's taken on the road against TCU on Jan. 6. The 32 attempts from long range ranks fifth in the CSU all-time record books. Junior guard Sara Hunter and freshman guard Ashley McFarland each attempted 12 3-pointers in the contest, which ties for 12th in a single-game in the CSU record books.

Fan Support
Colorado State improved its streak of games home games played in front of more than 1,000 fans to 170 games on Jan. 25 against Wyoming. The last time that the Rams played in front of fewer than 1,000 fans at Moby Arena was Jan. 5, 1996 against Idaho State.

Colorado State has connected on 99 3-pointers this season which ranks 16th on the all-time single season charts at Colorado State and the Rams' .31 3-point percentage currently ranks tied for 12th in school history.

This season, the Rams have connected on 99 3-pointers through 20 games, leaving the team just one 3-pointer shy of 100 on the year. The Rams have hit 100 or more 3's in the last 11 consecutive seasons.

Active Scoring Leader
Junior guard Sara Hunter eclipsed 700 points for her career during an overtime loss to Wyoming at Moby Arena on Jan. 25. Hunter, who enters Sunday's matchup with Air Force with 721 points, is the active leading scorer for her career on the Rams' team by a wide margin, having scored 122 more points than senior guard Molly Nohr, who ranks second among active players in scoring with 599 career points.

Hunter With The Assist
Junior guard Sara Hunter is just 12 assists shy of 200 for her career, entering Sunday's matchup with Air Force. The Fort Collins native would become only the 22nd player in school history to reach 200 assists for her career.

Cornell Crashing Boards
Freshman forward Juanise Cornell reached 100 rebound in the Rams game against New Mexico on Jan. 13 and she enters Sunday's matchup against Air Force with 123 boards in her short career, just 11 rebounds shy of cracking the top-10 in the single-season freshman record books. Her current rebounding average of 6.5 rpg. ranks seventh on the freshman charts.

The freshman from Azusa, Calif. also recorded her fifth double-digit rebounding effort of the season with a game-best 10 rebounds at UNLV. It marked the sixth time this season that Cornell led the Rams in rebounding

Hunter Heating Up
In her last six contests, junior guard Sara Hunter has not only broken out of a double-digit scoring drought, but has nearly doubled her offensive output. In the Rams' eight contests before their Jan. 11 meeting with Utah, Hunter averaged just 6.75 points per contest and failed to reach double figures once during that stretch. Since the Utah game, Hunter is averaging 12.5 points per game and has reached double-figures in four of those six contests.

Hunting for 3's
Junior guard Sara Hunter continues to climb up the career 3-point rankings. Her 142 career 3-point makes ranks sixth all-time and her 385 carer attempts is seventh. Her career 37.1 percent shooting from beyond the arc ranks seventh entering Sunday's matchup against Air Force.

Two Players Leave Program
Colorado State University women's basketball coach Jen Warden announced Saturday that two student-athletes suspended Jan. 12 have left the team.

Warden announced that Kelly Jo Mullaney and Raysha Ritter notified her that they intended to leave the program, effective immediately.

Both are freshmen. Mullaney is from Minneapolis, Minn., while Ritter is from Grand Junction, Colo.

All student-athlete related matters are dealt with internally at Colorado State University to ensure that our institution has fully followed the guidelines mandated by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (Buckley Amendment).

McFarland, Moulton Magnificent
Freshman guard Ashley McFarland and Senior center Marilyn Moulton each posted career-highs in scoring last Saturday at San Diego State. McFarland, whose previous career-best was seven points, notched the seventh 20-point game of the season for the Rams with her 24-point outburst in which she shot 8-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from 3-point range. Moulton added a career-best 18 points, eclipsing her old high of 15 points. McFarland and Moulton then each posted double-digit scoring games against Wyoming on Jan. 25. Moulton led the team with 17 points in the game, while McFarland added 12 points of her own.
