Rams in 11th at Callaway Invitational

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Colorado State is in 11th place after two rounds of the Callaway Invitational hosted by the University of San Diego. Two Rams are in the top-20 at the par-72, 6,911-yard Farms Club Golf Course.
Colorado State recorded rounds of 298-303 earning them a 601 two-round total and possession of 11th place. They trail tournament leading UT-Arlington by 20 strokes. UT-Arlington leads the 15-team tournament after shooting rounds of 288-293 for a 581 two-round total. San Diego State is one stroke behind them after recording rounds of 293-289 for a two-round 582.
Derrick Whiting is in a tie for 13th while teammate Dustin Morris is in a tie for 19th. Whiting carded rounds of 71-75 for a two-round 146. Dustin Morris recorded rounds of 71-76 earning him a two-round 147.
Andrew Landry of Arkansas and Bryce Easton of UT-Arlington lead the individual category and are locked at a 139 two-round total. Landry shot a round of 74 followed by a 65. Easton has carded rounds of 69-70.
Aaron Weston and Zen Brown are currently in a tie for 48th after earning a 154 two-round total. Weston carded rounds of 76-78 and Brown recorded rounds of 80-74. Bryce Hanstad is in 79th after shooting rounds of 87-78 for a two-round 165.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with the last round set to tee off at 8 a.m. PT.
