Colorado State University head coach Jen Warden today announced that Britney Minor, will complete the Rams' recruiting class, becoming the 10th player to commit to Colorado State for the 2007-08 season.

Britney Minor (5-10, F, Navasota, Texas/Blinn College)

Minor, a sophomore forward at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, guided the Buccaneers to 46 wins (the best two-year win total in school history) and back-to-back appearance in the regional finals, along with teammate and fellow CSU-signee Amaka Uzomah.  In her two seasons at Blinn College, Minor tallied 696 career points and 488 rebounds, averaging 10.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest.  Last season, Minor scored 485 points (14.7 ppg.) and pulled down 300 rebounds (9.09 rpg.), both fifth in a single season in school history.  Her efforts led to first team all-conference and first team All-Region XIV accolades as well as an Honorable Mention NJCAA All-America nod after scoring in double figures in every conference game for Blinn College in 2006-07.

Warden on Minor:  "Britney Minor's commitment completes a tremendous recruiting effort by our staff and returning players to take the next step towards a Mountain West Championship. Britney's numbers speak for themselves, but what I love about Brit is her athleticism and tenacity on the court. Brit is a competitor-a player that can change the game with her will."

Minor becomes the fifth student athlete to sign with Colorado State during the spring period, and the 10th overall.  She joins Amaka Uzomah (6-0, F, Houston, Texas/Blinn College), Carine Reimink (6-1, F, Reedy Creek, Queensland, Australia/Casper College), Kandy Beemer (5-5, G, Bedford, Iowa/Jefferson College), Lauren Young (6-2, PF, Edina, Minn./Edina HS), Elle Queen (6-0, F, Excelsior, Minn./Minnetonka HS), Whitney Wood (6-2, F, Ladera Ranch, Calif./Santa Margarita HS), Danielle Albus (5-9, G, Aumsville, Ore./Cascade HS), Bonnie Barbee (5-8, G, Mesa, Ariz./Red Mountain HS) and Zoi Simmons (5-6, Guard, Fontana, Calif./ IMG Academy).
