Santa Cruz, Calif. - Colorado State women's water polo team lost to Cal State Bakersfield by a score of 14-8 in the 12th game of the WWPAs. This loss is the second for the Rams in the WWPA Championship.
The game was very close the entire way, but Bakersfield was able to score three unanswered goals in the fourth. Laurien White and Emily Chambers both had three goals in the game. Emily McCullough and Annie Quinn added one goal each. Krystyna McCright had five saves in goal for the Rams.
Colorado State (13-19) will play Cal State East Bay for seventh place at 11:15 am PT on Sunday. UC Davis and Loyola Marymount will play in the championship game at 3:00 pm PT.
