The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the final regional rankings today, and the Colorado State Women's tennis team received team and individual recognition.
As a team, Colorado State was ranked 11th in the Central Region, marking the highest regional ranking ever received. In singles, senior Emily Kirchem was ranked 15th and the doubles tandem of Kirchem and junior Hilary Tyler was ranked 7th.
"These rankings reflect the respect that our team and our players have in our region. Our team rankings was definitely boosted by a win over a nationally-ranked (Cal-Northridge, #69) team this year," said head coach John Messick.
