DeLoach Places 6th in Long Jump Finals

Seniors Janay DeLoach and Nicole Feest finished competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday.
DeLoach finished in sixth place in the women's long jump finals, posting a mark of 21-0.75. Feest placed 16th in the 10,000 meter run, crossing in a time of 34:45.54.
Two Rams will continue action tomorrow at the Alex G. Spanos Sports Complex. Schutz will compete in the finals of the men's discus throw, after qualifying with a personal-best toss of 193-02 in yesterday's preliminaries.
Senior Rob Watson also advanced for Colorado State in the Steeplechase after a runner was disqualified. Watson had finished in 15th place with a time of 8:42.75 on Wednesday, and was bumped up to 14th after Thursday's disqualification. Watson will compete in the finals on Friday.
