Three tennis players named ITA Scholar Athletes

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has named three Colorado State women's tennis players as ITA Scholar Athletes.
Emily Kirchem, Hilary Tyler and Laura Neal were all honored in an announcement this week.
Honorees must be a varsity letterwinner and have a grade point average of at least 3.5.
Kirchem ranked No.15 in the region in singles play in the 2006-07 season and Tyler finished with the best singles record for the Rams with an 18-11 mark.
Kirchem and Tyler were even more impressive when they played together in doubles competition. The two produced a record-setting doubles team and were ranked No.7 in the region. They finished the season with a No.1 doubles record of 17-1, and were 22-2 overall.
Neal finished her freshman campaign with 24 wins (11 singles, 13 doubles).
