The Colorado State women's tennis team will travel to Provo, Utah, to compete in the BYU Invitational Thursday through Saturday. The Rams currently hold a 9-16 singles record and a 7-5 doubles record.

The Rams will travel the top eight from their lineup, including sophomore Laura Neal, junior Lauren Strasburger and senior Hilary Tyler, who did not travel to last weekend's Wyoming Invitational.

At the 2006 BYU Invitational, the Rams' top three compiled a 3-3 singles record while earning a 2-1 record in doubles, and went 13-11 in singles and 11-6 in doubles in fall tournament play. In the tournament, the Rams advanced as far as the semifinals in both the singles and doubles maindraws in the BYU Invitational. In singles, former CSU tennis player Emily Kirchem fell to the tournament's top-seeded player. Also in the maindraw, Strasburger advanced to the quarterfinals, dropping her match to the same top-seeded player. In doubles, Kirchem and Neal advanced to the semifinals, then lost to a top-seeded BYU team.
