FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- As first-year Head Coach Kristen Holt and her coaching staff put into place their plan to build a program of excellence at Colorado State, fans are sure to notice several changes surrounding the women’s basketball program.  One such change is the formation of the Rams’ new booster club, High Hoops.

High Hoops is inviting new members to join and support the women’s team through a year of on-going changes.  The No. 1 goal of the club is to create more interaction between the team and its fans. Membership benefits include attending monthly luncheons and breakfasts with the coaching staff and players, receiving e-mails and newsletters about the program, players and staff, as well as having the opportunity to take a “Fan Bus” to the Rams’ game against in-state rival Colorado on Nov. 19.

Membership requires an annual payment of $50, and additional donations are always welcome. These proceeds will be used to improve the quality of the program. The staff hopes to use these proceeds to support the summer school programs as well as improve the lounge in the office. Proceeds will also be used to advance the team’s facilities and equipment.

High Hoops is off to a great start, enlisting 60 members, 35 of which have joined in these first two weeks.  Fans are encouraged to help the Rams become a program of excellence. For more information, contact Matt Klein at 970/222-7196 or via e-mail at matthew.klein@colostate.edu.
