Rams match notes - CSU wraps up regular season home schedule

NEWS AND NOTES

  • The Rams have won 13 consecutive matches against the Aztecs and are 25-14 all-time in the series. San Diego State has not won in Fort Collins since Nov. 9, 1996.
  • Senior Mekana Barnes has tallied 19 kills in each of her last two matches. Over her last 10 matches, she has averaged 14.9 kills per match. She has tal¬lied double-figures in kills in nine of those matches.
  • Tessa Nelson has tallied six or more kills in each of her last five matches. She tallied a season-high 12 kills and seven blocks at New Mexico on Thursday.
  • Colorado State has won 26 consecutive matches at Moby Arena which ranks as the third-longest streak in Division I volleyball.
  • First serve for Sunday’s match against UNLV is set for 1 p.m. Fans are encour¬aged to arrive early to catch all of the senior day festivities.
