CSU men's golf signs one to NLI

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State men’s golf Head Coach Jamie Bermel announced Wednesday the signing of Luke Thacker to a National Letter of Intent.
Thacker, a senior from Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, will join the Rams for the 2009-10 season. An MVP of his high school golf team, Thacker earned first-team all-district and first-team all-region honors.
He has participated in a number American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events, including the 2008 Alilda Junior at Oak Tree where he finished tied for 19th, the 2008 Dodge/Bob Estes Abilene Junior (T-34), and the 2008 PING Phoenix Junior (T-51). Thacker also posted a third-place showing at the Texas-Oklahoma Junior in June.
