FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State volleyball program has signed Tori Brummett and Lisa Parlich to National Letters of Intent, Head Coach Tom Hilbert announced Wednesday.

Brummett will join the Rams from Redlands, Calif., where she attends Redlands East Valley High School and plays club volleyball for Rancho Valley Volleyball Club. The 6-foot-4 middle blocker has been named a prepvolleyball.com senior ace while earning all-conference honors in both her junior and senior seasons. She has helped lead Redlands East Valley to conference championships in her final two seasons while guiding them to the No. 27 spot in the national prepvolleyball.com rankings.

“Tori is a tall and swift blocker,” said Hilbert. “She is as competitive as anyone we have. I really feel like she is the type of player we need because, with her, we get taller and remain athletic. Tori’s team won the Reno Festival last summer, which is volleyball’s version of the NIT. She played a major role on a great team.”

Parlich, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, will head to Fort Collins from Delavan, Wisc. At Delavan-Darien High School she was a three-year varsity player and letterwinner while also a member of Fusion Volleyball Club. She has been named first-team all-conference and team MVP in each of the last two seasons and was the team’s captain this past season. Parlich, a member of National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars, has been on the high honor roll since her freshman year.

“Lisa is a versatile athlete who we see playing different positions in her time here,” said Hilbert. “She will compete for a middle blocking position early in her career. We see her as a developmental player and someone with a great attitude and work ethic.”
