FORT COLLINS, Colo. – CSU’s men’s basketball team will host two games this week, in-state rival Northern Colorado on Tuesday at 7 p.m., and Minnesota Saturday at 8 p.m., a contest broadcast live on The Mtn.

The first 2,000 fans to arrive for Saturday’s game against Minnesota will receive “Timmy vs. Tubby” T-shirts.

Football

The Rams hope for their sixth win next Saturday in Laramie, Wyo., to become bowl eligible, in the 100th meeting between the Border War teams. Game time is set for noon at War Memorial Stadium. A total of 16 seniors still on the Rams' active roster hope this weekend is not their last game. Even with a win, CSU would likely need a Utah win, and possibly a UNLV loss.

For tickets to this game, call the Wyoming ticket office at 1-800-922-9461. Rams fan seats are in section A.

Border War Blood Drive

The annual Border War Blood Drive will take place Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room in Moby Arena.

Please e-mail Shannon Kohl at s.kohl13@comcast.net to make an appointment today.

Walk-up appointments will also be available. The first 50 donors will receive a T-shirt!

Women’s basketball

After an overtime loss Saturday at Wichita State, the Rams will hope to get back on track Wednesday, when they travel to Boulder, Colo., to face in-state rival Colorado. The game, which will be televised on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain, begins at 7:07 p.m. from the Coors Events Center.

The Rams will then take on Idaho Saturday at 2 p.m. for their home opener at Moby Arena.

Volleyball

The No. 15 Rams will wrap up their season with three consecutive road matches. They will play at BYU on Thursday and then travel to Salt Lake City for a showdown with Utah on Saturday that could determine the conference champion. CSU will then finish the season with an out-of-conference trip to Long Beach State on Nov. 29.

On Thursday, C.B. & Potts will host a watch party along with Cam and the Golden Poms for the game against BYU. The party starts at 6 p.m. with the first serve set for 7 p.m. Ten percent of all food and beverage sales will be donated to CSU athletics.

Swimming

Colorado State’s next competition is the Husker Invite in Lincoln, Neb., Thursday-Sunday. Eight teams will join the Rams in Lincoln for the meet, including Nebraska, Iowa State, Nebraska-Omaha, North Texas, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Rice and South Dakota State. The Rams took second in last year’s event behind Nebraska.
