Both teams enter Sunday’s game with their last games against the Colorado Buffaloes. The Cardinal topped CU back on Nov. 29 by a score of 76-62, while the Rams fell to the Buffaloes on Wednesday, 75-56 in Boulder. Sunday’s game will mark Stanford’s first game in 15 days.
Over his last two games, Rams center Dan Vandervieren has averaged 15.5 points on .750 (15-20) shooting and grabbed 8.0 rebounds per contest while averaging 2.5 blocks. He posted a career-high 16 points on 8-11 shooting at Colorado on Wednesday.
Colorado State is 3-3 at home this season as opposed to 0-3 on the road. Inside Moby Arena this season, the Rams are averaging 78.5 points per game on .466 shooting as opposed to 65.0 points on .411 shooting in three road games this season.

ABOUT STANFORD Led by first-year head coach Johnny Dawkins, the Cardinal is off to a perfect 4-0 start and as of Dec. 11, is one of only 20 undefeated teams in Division I. Sunday’s game will mark just the second road game for Stanford this season. The Cardinal, led by top scorer, Anthony Goods, leads the Pac-10 in scoring at 82.5 points per game. Stanford has opened the season scoring at least 75 points in all four games.
SERIES HISTORY Sunday’s game will mark the eighth all-time meeting between the two schools with Stanford holding a 5-2 edge. CSU and Stanford met last seaason at Maples Pavilion on Nov. 24 with the Cardinal coming away with a 73-53 win. CSU overall: 2-5 In Fort Collins: 2-1 On the road: 0-4
