FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Stanford punched its ticket to its third consecutive NCAA final four appearance Saturday by defeating Hawaii in the Fort Collins regional final in front of 2,547 fans at Moby Arena.

The Cardinal held Hawaii to a .053 hitting percentage and just 2.5 team blocks, and in contrast hit .363 and added 10 team blocks.

Stanford will face Texas, winner of the Austin regional, in one semifinal match of the national championships Thursday in Omaha, Neb. Penn State will play the winner of the Seattle regional in the other semifinal match. Nebraska and Washington face off late Saturday in the Seattle regional final.

Erin Waller and Foluke Akinradweo had eight kills each for Stanford, which has not dropped a set the entire NCAA tournament.
