ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Through donations provided by fans, Colorado State's football program will donate approximately 650 tickets to military personnel and their families at Kirtland Air Force Base near Albuquerque.

Fans purchased more than 1,500 tickets to be donated to military personnel, charity and members of the CSU marching band.

"We have been excited by the response of our fans during this bowl effort," CSU Athletic Director Paul Kowalczyk commented. "Donations have been used to assist us with tickets for the marching band as well as providing an opportunity for local military and their families to attend Saturday's game. We are very thankful for the generosity and support from our fans and donors."

As of Thursday, the university had distributed nearly 5,000 tickets and sales are continuing until kickoff time, which is set for 12:30 p.m. MT. Fans still needing tickets are no longer able to purchase them at CSURams.com. Tickets are available through the Alumni Association at the team hotel, the Albuquerque Marriott, on Friday.
