About BYU
Head coach Jeff Judkins, a two-time MWC Coach of the Year, is in his seventh season at the  helm of the Cougars program, where he has compiled a record of 138-71 and led his team to five postseason appearance since the 2001-02 season, including back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2007.

Last season, Judkins and the Cougars captured their second consecutive MWC regular-season championhip, posting a record of 23-10 (12-4 MWC).

This season BYU returned six letterwinners, and sits in fourth place in the Mountain West Conference standing heading into Wednesday's matchup with Colorado State.

Through the first half of the conference schedule, the Cougars have posted a 5-3 record.  After opening its league schedule with a win against the Rams (60-39) in Fort Collins, BYU improved to 2-0 with a 67-55 home victory over UNLV.  The Cougars then suffered a pair of setbacks in consecutive games, at home vs. rival Utah (80-49) and at San Diego State (62-39).
