BYU vs. Colorado State
Pregame Notes:
· Ronnie Aguilar and Willis Gardner did not play due to injury.
· The Rams had just six scholarship players available for the game.
Game Notes:
· CSU played more than four minutes in the first half with a lineup of true freshmen (Clayman, Woodard, Simmons, McFarland, Nigon)
· McFarland was 2-of-2 in the first half from three-point range. The last time he had two three-pointers in a game was vs. Oklahoma Panhandle State, eight games ago. He finished with 15 points, just two shy of his career-high 17 at Nevada.
· In Provo, the Rams finished the first half down eight points but in this game trailed by just three points at the half.
· Stuart Creason had his fourth career 20-point game, with 24 points in 30 minutes. For the season, it is his 10th game in double figures and his fourth game from the line without a miss. It is his second game back from injury.
· Creason was 10-of-10 from the free-throw line, eclipsing his career high of eight made free throws, which occurred on three occasions.
· Marcus Walker was held below double-figures for the first time in his Mountain West Conference career, scoring just six points. He was held to just two points off free throws in the second half.
· Josh Simmons had a career-high three steals.
· David Cohen more than doubled his most single-game minutes with 24.
