"Obviously, a very key game for us. I thought the start of the game was going to be crucial. Anytime you've been away for two weeks and played the two teams that we've had to play (BYU, UNLV), and really kind of gotten beaten up in both games, I was most concerned about how our mindset was going to be. I thought we really got things going on the defense end. I thought it was 40 minutes or really solid man-to-man defense and we needed a game like that. It's always good - building some confidence on the defensive end rather than waiting to make a shot."

"I thought we saw a complete lack of trust and discipline when things when down. Basketball is a game where you create for your teammates, always. You help your teammates, always. We didn't do that, we didn't create for a teammate. Often times I've found when an atmosphere gets boisterous guys clam up; they just shut down. When you go on the road into an environment like this guys shut down. This is the meat of our schedule. At New Mexico, at UNLV and BYU at home. Those are the three most difficult games consecutively have to go though to be honest."
