TEMPE, Ariz. -- Colorado State men's golf holds third place after one round of play at the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on Friday at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. Arizona State's A and B teams are tied for first.
"We played pretty solid," Head Coach Jamie Bermel said. "We played the back nine first and when we got to the front nine, we had good chances to make some birdies."

Riley Arp is tied for 11th with a total of 70, 1-under-par, recording five birdies.
"Riley really played well," Bermel said. "It was fun to watch him play solid."
