FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Oregon high school cross country standout Spenser Lynass will join the Rams this fall, Head Coach Bryan Berryhill announced Thursday. Lynass will run cross country and distance for CSU.

"Spenser will bring his tough racing style with him to Colorado State," said Berryhill. "He will make the transition to the Division I level very well as he has already run some good 5K and 10K times at the high-school level. Spenser is a great athlete that has the work ethic and leadership skills to be very successful at CSU. He is also a tremendous student and we are looking forward to his arrival in Fort Collins."

Lynass was the Oregon state 4A runner up in cross country for North Bend High School. He was the top high-school finisher in seven races in the fall.
