FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State golfer Zen Brown, on Wednesday, was selected as a member of the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar team announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Brown competed in all 12 tournaments for the Rams as a junior in 2007-08, helping to lead the Rams to the first Mountain West Championship in school history and a berth in the NCAA Championships for the eighth time in nine seasons under Head Coach Jamie Bermel. Brown fired a per round average of 72.94, adding four Top 20 finishes and one Top 10 finish to his career resume. His eight-career Top 10 finishes rank sixth all-time at CSU. He carded a season-low round of 68 on four occasions throughout the year, and posted his top finish, an eighth-place showing, at the Callaway Golf Invitational in San Diego, Calif., March 10-11.
