LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The 2009 Conoco Mountain West Conference Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas is always an intriguing proposition for Colorado State fans.
The city has been the host for two of the most exciting Rams basketball moments in recent memory: the 2003 run to the NCAA tournament by the men’s team and the women’s squad scoring the biggest upset in Mountain West Conference history against Utah last season.
Recently, the MWC tournament has become even more desirable, as CSU has received one of the better seat locations for the 2009 MWC Basketball Championships – the lower portions of Sections107-110 at the Thomas and Mack Center, and several Vegas hotels have announced special offers just for MWC fans during the tournament.
The South Pointe, Venetian, Marriott, Palace Station and MGM Luxury Suites are all offering discounted rooms or suites to fans who want to watch the exciting conclusion of the MWC basketball season:
The South Pointe Hotel and Casino, where the Rams basketball teams will be staying, has great rates on rooms featuring two queen beds that start at $59. To access the rate, fans can either type MWCFAN as the group code, or follow this link:
