Game notes - CSU hosts first place Utah Wednesday

MATCHUP QUICKFACTS
Colorado State has won three of it last four games at home, including a 71-65 win over TCU on Feb. 7, when the Rams last played at Moby Arena.
In the last meeting between the two schools on Jan. 17, the Rams had three players in double figures, led by Andy Ogide, who scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Harvey Perry also set career highs in points (15) and rebounds (8) while Jesse Carr scored 11.
On Saturday at UNLV, senior guard Marcus Walker scored a team-high 18 points, including 12 straight in the second half during a 12-2 CSU run. Walker, now ranked sixth in the conference in scoring (15.6), has averaged 19.0 points per game in his last three games and has tallied at least 18 points in all three outings.
At halftime of Saturday's game, the CSU athletic department will recognize all student-athletes who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last two consecutive semesters.
The CSU athletic department will host a Rams Watch Party on Saturday at CB & Potts in Fort Collins, when the Rams travel to Air Force. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. and 10 percent of all sales during the game will go toward the CSU athletic department scholarship fund.
ABOUT UTAH
The Utes (receiving votes in the latest AP and ESPN/USA Today poll) enter Wednesday's game atop the Mountain West standings at 9-2 and have won six straight conference games - the longest current streak in MWC play. Utes senior center Luke Nevill leads the MWC in rebounds (8.1) while ranking third in scoring (17.1). Utah knocked off the Rams, 82-66, in Salt Lake City back on Jan. 17.
SERIES HISTORY
The Rams and Utes will be meeting for the 141st time with Utah having won four straight in the series. CSU's last win was a 73-57 win in Fort Collins on Jan. 9, 2007.
